HAPPY THANKSGIVING, EVERYONE! At least, to those who celebrate it. Just making a small update today to tell those in the States (and those abroad – i.e. Idina) to enjoy Turkey Day and all the food it brings.

To make an Idina-related update, Idina has fallen ill with bronchitis and has been out of performances in London for the past few days. Though she was back in for a few days last week, she’s taking a break again until she’s fully recovered so as not to make ailments worse. Send her good thoughts and wishes, and hope she returns to 100% soon.

Idina is featured in yesterday’s (11/17/06) issue of Evening Standard Magazine, with a 5-page spread, great interview, and beautiful new photoshoot! I managed to get the pictures as big as I could (while still looking alright) from the magazine’s website for use on this site. So check out the scans below, she looks simply stunning.

… and he mentions Idina in the upcoming issue of People magazine. Several people thought I should update with this, and since we’re slow on news, I thought it wouldn’t hurt. Taye is one of People magazine’s “Sexiest Men Alive” in 2006, and he had some things to say about Idina.

Note: speaking of Taye… I’ve been asked by Chelly, who runs Taye Online, to let all you Taye fans out there know what’s happening with the site. The server it’s hosted on is experiencing difficulties, and Chelly wants to apologize to everyone for it going down and being out of commission. She is very busy right now, but hopes to get it back up and running as soon as she can. I’m sure you can all be patient until then.

On another note, I thought I’d give a shout-out to this site’s official fanlisting songBIRD, and tell everyone that they should sign up if they haven’t already. Why? you might ask… Well. Because. It’s just a nice way to see how many other fans are out there and where they’re located in the world. So I wanted to officially announce a few London TV appearances Idina is set to take part in while she’s in the UK — First, the cast will appear on the “Children in Need” special night of programming on November 17 @ 11:30pm-midnight (visit the Official Site.) Then, on December 4, they’ll be at the 78th Annual Royal Variety Show which airs on the BBC — it is a special night of live performances at the London Coliseum in which members of the British Royal Family will be in attendence (visit the Official Site.) I’m hoping to get both of these videos for the site, since they’re not on in the States, so no worries
