The wait is over! Now online, for your viewing pleasure, is Idina’s Q&A with her fans! It features nearly 40 questions (on 4 different pages), ranging from fears and advice to talents and pets, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. It’s been a long wait, but one that – hopefully – was well worth it.

It’s been confirmed that Idina is to take to the stage LIVE in Palm Springs Sunday, April 8, during the Closing Party of the annual The White Party — she is scheduled to sing a new re-mixed version of “Defying Gravity”! The closing event runs from 9pm-4am (no specifics on when Idina will perform during that time have been announced), and tickets run at about $70/person. Multiple versions of the re-mixed “Defying Gravity” track will be available for download on iTunes starting at the end of the month (Glen Ballard produced version, due April 24th; Tracy Young Club Mix, due May 1st.)

Also, a promotional online advertisement has been released in occurance with this event, and it features a beautiful new photo of Idina (I’m having trouble with the Gallery at the moment, so it’s not on there yet, but it can be seen by clicking on the source-link above.)

Thanks to Linny for sending me this first batch, and to Carly for providing the last bit. I’ve added a few images I’ve been meaning to put up but hadn’t found the time. First, a different promo still from Idina’s 2006 film, Ask the Dust, as well as two candid pics of Idina and Taye Diggs (along with their puppy Sammy Davis) at the Grove shopping center in LA back in January.

Announcement: I should have posted this earlier, but it’s not really an official Idina-Here.com event – rather, it’s being put together by the Idina Message Board, So Beautiful, in honor of Idina’s upcoming birthday. I’d post all about it, but it would take up too much space, so with that…

Hurry, because submissions close on April 12th!

While it was predicted Idina’s upcoming solo album through Warner Brothers Records would bow my mid-May, plans are for the CD to be released early this coming Fall. Playbill.com has reported a short notice regarding the release, but I’ve confirmed that it will be out no sooner than August, probably September. Idina is finishing up the album in L.A. right now, so it’s great to see the release on the horizon!

Also, an unrelated note: While I had previously reported that Idina would sing two songs in the upcoming Disney film, Enchanted, I’ve discovered that she’s only confirmed to be singing one song. This song will be titled (appropriately enough) “Enchanted”, and she’ll be performing it with co-star, James Marsden. The song appears towards the end of the film.

EDIT: The first Enchanted promotional film poster has been released (though it should be noted, this may not be the final poster, since it was one that was just proposed to the studio.) No Idina in this one, but it definitely looks incredible. (source: JoBlo.com)

Once again, the comments have been deleted. I don’t know why this keeps happening, and I apologize to everyone for this annoyance. I know people get really involved and learn quite a bit in the comment sections, and I hope this won’t discourage you from continuing to comment, because it’s really great feedback for me.

I had a scare tonight, when it looked like ALL the old news updates had been deleted/lost. Yeah, I was panicking – but I was able to restore them, though the comments didn’t make it.

I just wanted to acknowledge these events, in case anyone was online and saw a completely blank front page (scary, huh?) Thanks guys, I hope you understand.
