Idina recently did a quick interview with WhatsOnStage.com, discussing her “Past, Present, & Future.” The interview can be read by clicking here.

In the interview, Idina discusses her most recent stage endeavor, Chess. Tonight was the premiere performance of the Chess concert in London, featuring Idina alongside Josh Groban, Kerry Ellis, and Idina’s Rent co-star, Adam Pascal. The show runs tonight and tomorrow night.

Idina also reveals that her appearance at G-A-Y Bar this coming Saturday will begin at 1:00am, and she will be singing remixes of “Gorgeous” from her “I Stand” album, as well as her hit, “Defying Gravity.”

Recently, Idina and her band visited AOL Sessions to play a few tracks from her new album “I Stand”. You can watch the videos starting tomorrow (May 6th) around 9am. Two live performance events have been confirmed while Idina spends some time in London this coming month. First, she will be making an appearance at G-A-Y Bar on Saturday, May 17th, following her autograph signing at London’s Dress Circle. The exact time has yet to be confirmed (at least that I’ve heard), but the official site can be found here. This is not an event that requires tickets, but it IS a bar/club, so… be responsible!

Another full concert has been scheduled, Idina’s very first in London! This concert will be on May 20th at the Ambassadors Theatre. Tickets will go on sale beginning May 2nd at ticketmaster.co.uk or at the theatre box office.

According to the Idina Menzel Message Board, Idina has been confirmed for a one-night-only concert in Atlanta, GA at the Delta Classic on Friday, July 18th. Ticket information isn’t available yet, but check back later for more details. There’s definitely been some hinting about the possibility of a summer tour… Very promising!
