While news and going-ons are rather slow right now as Idina prepares for the next set of concerts, I found something new to entertain ourselves!  I’ve compiled some screenshots of Idina’s official site from over the years and I thought it’d be fun to share.  Click on the image below to go to the page for more.

Some Updates

Some Updates

The overwhelming favorite song from this tour in last month’s poll was…

Defying Gravity and Somewhere Over the Rainbow/The Wizard & I were second and third place.

More information is trickling out about Disney’s new movie, Frozen, which will feature Idina as the voice of the Snow Queen.

Blurb from Disney:

“In Frozen, a prophecy traps a kingdom in eternal winter, so Anna (voice of Kristen Bell) must team up with Kristoff, a daring mountain man, on the grandest of journeys to find the Snow Queen (voice of Idina Menzel) and put an end to the icy spell. Encountering Everest-like extremes, mystical creatures and magic at every turn, Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom from destruction.”

And more from the Comic Book Industry’s the Bleeding Cool:

“When Anna is cursed by her estranged sister, the cold-hearted Snow Queen, Anna’s only hope of reversing the curse is to survive a perilous but thrilling journey across an icy and unforgiving landscape. Joined by a rugged, thrill-seeking outdoorsman, his one-antlered reindeer and a hapless snowman, Anna must race against time, conquer the elements and battle an army of menacing snowmen if she ever hopes to melt her frozen heart.”

The film won’t be out until November 2013, so we have a long, long wait!

Have You Seen A Concert Yet?

Idina has made it through about 3/4ths of the new tour!  Have you seen the show yet?  To celebrate the tour, let’s take a poll just for fun to see what has been the number one favorite song of this tour.  Check out the poll at the bottom of this post and let us know!

If you’re in the Cincinnati area, there are still tickets available to the World Choir Games Closing Ceremony this Saturday, July 14th.  Click here to buy tickets!  Idina will only be singing a few songs, but the whole show sounds like it’ll be pretty cool!

And I hope everyone in the UK is getting their tickets for the October shows!  Check out the official site for links and dates.

And yes, some shows have had a slightly different setlist, but the songs listed here are the ones that have been the majority of what’s been performed.
