Things will probably be a bit quiet for the next week while we await Idina’s upcoming concert on the 31st (at Woodstock!), so in the meantime, I’ve done some site updates you may want to check out.

Idina recently took some time to fill out a new Q&A for us! If you’re wondering why there wasn’t a heavily promoted submission post here, let me explain: the majority of the questions were submitted in the LiveJournal blog community I manage, IdinaMenzelWorship. I actually had the green light to do this nearly three years ago, before I began working on Idina-Here, so that’s where questions were submitted. I recently supplemented it with questions that were submitted on Twitter, along with a few of my own that I thought everyone would find interesting. Pretty much all questions asked were ones we’ve never heard the answer to previously, so it should make for an interesting insight into Idina’s thoughts on her music, career, and new life as a mother. Playbill has announced that Idina will be a presenter at the 64th Annual Tony Awards, airing this Sunday, June 13 at 8:00pm ET/7:00pm CT on CBS. Make sure you tune in, and check back here throughout the night for photos from the red carpet! They will uploaded to our gallery in this album.

Three years ago, Idina-Here creator Kim designed a whole mini section of the site, called the Fan Corner, designed celebrate Idina’s fans.

Sadly, the mini site never really got implemented. But, it’s time to change that! I know tons of you have met Idina, especially in recent years on her tours. If you have, I’m asking for you to contribute to making this site more worthy of its title as the premiere fan resource by getting the FANS involved. I also know many of you like to play in Photoshop and make Idina-centric graphics like LiveJournal icons and desktop wallpapers, or if you’re a more traditional artist who has drawn, painted, sketched, etc etc something of Idina, I want it all added to our special fan gallery.

I want you all to spend some time reminiscing about the time you won a meet & greet, or talked to Idina at a stage door, or sat next to her on a plane, and write it out to be archived here. If you’ve already written your story on your blog or a message board, you can provide a link to it instead of retyping it if you wish. Same goes for any and all artwork.
