•IDINA IN LONDON’S ‘DAILY MAIL’! •

A small article announcing the arrival of Wicked in London has appeared on the Daily Mail (a London-based news source) website. •‘ASK THE DUST’ DVD SCREENCAPS! •

I spent today capping Idina’s scenes from Ask the Dust (which, as stated in the last post, is out now on DVD.) I’ve added 218 screen captures to the Gallery, but I must state: SOME IMAGES CONTAIN MILD NUDITY AND/OR SPOILERS TO THE PLOT! You have been warned! I made the decision to include these caps, because they are an important part of the film and I didn’t want to exclude them in the end. None of it is graphic or offensive, but it may be something you don’t want to know before seeing the movie. If you haven’t seen it yet, just beware. wassat

•‘ASK THE DUST’ RELEASED ON DVD! •

Finally, the day has come! The DVD for Ask the Dust, the independent film starring Colin Farrell and Salma Hayek (and featuring the lovely Idina, of course) is now available to purchase! The DVD features commentary by the director, Robert Towne, as well as the cinematographer, and then a Making Of featurette. Amazon.com is selling the DVD for 40% off, and it’s also available at most DVD/electronics stores. Click here to purchase the DVD on Amazon.com.

Hopefully I can make screencaps of Idina’s scenes and get them online by Wednesday — So keep an eye open for those! smile

•HANDFUL OF OLD TAYE/IDINA PICS! •

As promised yesterday, I uploaded just a small collection of Idina and Taye pictures from back in the day (aka 1996-1998) wink They are pretty miscellaneous, most I don’t really know where they’re from. I added one other pic of both of them to a different album for Jennifer Lopez’ “On the 6″ Album Release Party in 1999, as well. So enjoy! They’re really cute, and totally ’90s! •PICTURE UPDATE! •

I got a lot of great pictures over the past few days, and I’m still in the process of tagging them and organizing them — These are a few that I was able to put up last night. They are from events that already have an album in the Gallery. In the upcoming update, there will be an assortment of REALLY old pics featuring Idina and Taye back in 1996-1998. I’ll try to organize them and get them up as quickly as possible.

•OLDER VIDEO ADDED! •

I’ve added a video to the Television Videos page from back in June 2004 — the CBS News Tony’s Special went backstage with Wicked‘s leading ladies, Kristin Chenoweth and Idina Menzel. This used to be a streaming video, but thanks to Nessa, I’ve added it as downloadable media! Enjoy! It’s a really cute interview, and she talks about her clothes in the show, as well as what she plans to wear to the awards show! (the video is in the center of the page – look for the “NEW!” symbol next to it.)

I advise everyone to wait a couple of weeks before sending snail mail to ensure that the theatre can deliver it to her. Anyone seeking autographs needs to remember to include an SASE (Self-Addressed Stamped Envelope), because otherwise Idina will have to pay for postage (which likely, she won’t end up doing.) I’m sure it’ll be nice for her to receive mail from her loving fans while she’s overseas, so show her your love and support!

•JUST ADDRESSING SOME QUESTIONS… •

Wow! I’m impressed by all the comments in the last entry. I was gone for 4 days, and was shocked! Again, like I said before, while Idina’s working on her album, news is going to be kinda slow. So in light of that, I thought I’d just go over a few things that were asked in the comments from the previous update that other people might be thinking about (yes, I did read all of them) :

1 — No, Idina does not have a MySpace! I’ve gotten lots of e-mails, comments, etc, about this, and I thought I should answer. None are real, no matter what they say. (Oh, and Idina does not have a YouTube account, in case anyone was wondering that either.)
2 — To those who requested I create a Forum for Idina, there is already one that is officially supported by this site – It is called So Beautiful, and it has over 2200 members and was started in August 2004. Though it was formed seperately from this site, the administrator (Amanda) and I have decided to collaborate together. I recommend anyone not already a member, join now and begin discussions already in progress
3 — As for a change of layout?…. *shrug* one might be coming soon.

K, ’nuff of that. I may have missed something, if so, just make a comment and ask again. Happy 4th everyone!
