2023 | Palm Springs, CA declared November 4, 2023 “Idina Menzel Day” to honor her for “using her incredible talent to inspire and uplift” and “using her voice and platform to promote love, equality and unity”! This coincided with her headlining performance at Palm Springs Pride.

2023 |Music Will honors Idina with The Dream Builder Award for her vast contributions to stage and screen and her co-founding of A BroaderWay Foundation

2022 |‘Dream Girl’ written by Idina Menzel and Laura Veltz appears on the Academy Awards “shortlist” for Best Original Song

2020 | “Into The Unknown” was nominated for “Best Original Song” at the Academy Awards and Golden Globe Awards. The awards would’ve gone to songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez but Idina performed at the Academy Awards.

2019 |Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in the Live Theatre/Live Performance Category. Her star is located at 6225 Hollywood Blvd in front of the Pantages Theatre.

2015 | August 18, 2015 was declared “Idina Menzel Day” in the City of Cincinnati, OH. This coincided with her Idina World Tour show there!

2014 | Variety Power of Women honoree for founding her charity, A BroaderWay Foundation.

2014 | “Let It Go” was nominated for Best Original song at the Golden Globe Awards and won the Academy Award in that category. The award went to songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. Idina performed “Let It Go” at the Academy Awards. “Let It Go” also won “Best Song Written for Visual Media” at the Grammy Awards, “Best Song” at the Critic’s Choice Awards and was nominated for “Top Streaming Song (Video) at the Billboard Music Awards.

2011 | Matrix Award honoree for “extraordinary achievements of outstanding women in the communications industry” from the New York Women in Communications, Inc.
