As some of you may know, there are definitely some audio and video clips floating around the internet of Idina in the Chess Concert. While Idina-Here does not post fully illegal recordings, we do like to post snipets of songs for everyone to preview and enjoy (particularly those who didn’t get the chance to see it live.)

That being said, thanks to a very skilled and generous person on the Idina Menzel Worship Live Journal page, I’ve been able to cut up short clips of several of Idina’s songs from the show. I still have to go through the less well-known songs, so more might be added, but these are the significant tracks from the show.

Another new concert has been added to Idina’s busy schedule! This time, the show will take place on Wednesday, June 25 @ NYC’s Town Hall @ 8PM. This will be her first concert in NYC for the general public (as opposed to the PBS special concert), so this is a big deal for everyone in the area! Pre-sale tickets for Nokia customers go on sale 5/16 @ 10AM, and then for General buyers on 5/19 @ 12-noon. Don’t miss out! Click here for more information.

Idina recently did a quick interview with WhatsOnStage.com, discussing her “Past, Present, & Future.” The interview can be read by clicking here.

In the interview, Idina discusses her most recent stage endeavor, Chess. Tonight was the premiere performance of the Chess concert in London, featuring Idina alongside Josh Groban, Kerry Ellis, and Idina’s Rent co-star, Adam Pascal. The show runs tonight and tomorrow night.

Idina also reveals that her appearance at G-A-Y Bar this coming Saturday will begin at 1:00am, and she will be singing remixes of “Gorgeous” from her “I Stand” album, as well as her hit, “Defying Gravity.”

AOL Music just posted a whole handful of phenomenal Idina performance vids, as well as a bunch of short interview videos! The AOL Music Sessions page includes 5 Q&A vids, along with 4 full performance vids (including “Brave,” “Gorgeous,” “I Stand,” and “My Own Worst Enemy.”) I will hopefully be adding all the videos (at least links) to the Video Archive, but until then, click on the link below to watch all the videos.
