I haven’t even been here a week and already I’m getting plenty of practice doing a little bit of everything around the site thanks to Idina’s busy schedule! Here’s what’s been going on:
Hi everyone! I just wanted to take a quick moment to introduce myself. I’m Jill and I’ve been a huge fan of Idina’s for a long time. You can read a little more about me here. I’m very excited to be working on this page now but please bear with me as I learn my way around! If you ever have any suggestions, comments, tips, or new pictures to share in the awesome gallery, send me a message at Jill[at]idina-here.com!
And now on to more exciting things — another concert! Idina will be performing her 32nd show on this symphony tour (if I counted that correctly) with the Utah Symphony in Park City on July 30th. Fan pre-sale information can be found at the official site.
Hey everyone! I want to take a minute to make an important announcement about this site.
No, don’t panic! It’s not going anywhere! I, however, am. The time has come for me to gracefully bow out of maintaining Idina-Here. I have loved every minute of it, and am grateful to Kim, the site’s creator, for entrusting me with this jewel. Don’t you fret, though; I’m not leaving the Idina fandom – not even close! (I know you were all worried, right?) I’ll be getting more involved with the official side of things, and I look forward to being able to use everything I’ve learned from this site and all the fans I’ve met and talked to over the last four years to shake things up a bit.
So, what becomes of Idina-Here if I’m departing? Just as Kim passed the “torch” to me, I am passing it to my dear friend – and the source of nearly all the videos added in recent years – Jill. She’ll handle everything from here on out (Twitter, tumblr, Formspring, etc), so any questions about the site that you’d normally ask me, come Monday, she’s your gal! Her contact information and bio will be added this weekend.
Thank you, Jill, for taking over this project. I know you’ll do it justice.
Over and out,
♥ Erin

As you’re likely aware, Idina has a pretty big birthday coming up! She’ll be turning 40 (no, that’s not a typo) on May 30th. Several months ago, the folks on IMMB started trying to plan a birthday project, but it has since fizzled out. They came up with a really cool idea, though, so I thought I’d resurrect it and invite all fans to participate! It should be easy, affordable, and comfortable enough for everyone, so read on for details.
Step 1) Get a postcard that features your current city/state/country/whatever best represents where you live. Buy one, draw one, print one off your computer – whatever you want to do.
Step 2) Write your birthday wishes to Idina on the back and mail it to:
Idina Menzel Fanmail
215 Park Avenue South, Suite 1403
New York, NY 10003
USA
Step 3) Mail it by May 20 (or earlier, if you’re sending from the other side of the world). Yes, you can mail it as early as you like. All postcards will be held until her birthday when they’ll be delivered as a whole set.
That’s it! Please do not mail your postcard inside an envelope or with any other package, as the postcards will be flagged and collected to be given to Idina separate from her usual fan mail. Remember that this will not be considered fan mail, and you will not receive a response as you may from traditional fan mail.
The end product will not just be birthday wishes, but a visual representation of where Idina’s fans reside worldwide. I think it’s cool. Hopefully y’all do, too!
