This would have been the perfect show for me to attend (since I’ll be in SB two days before for my sis’ graduation), but unfortunately, I’m flying to Europe the day before the concert. I’m sad, but I know all you fans will turn out and show support. This will now be her first west coast concert, since her San Diego show will take place 2 days following. Hopefully more west coast shows will be added shortly!

Concert site, LiveNation, has announced two new concert dates to Idina’s growing tour schedule – one in Washington, D.C. and one in New Jersey. It looks like a summer tour is really taking shape! The details of the new dates are as follows:

Idina made a special surprise appearance on the most recent episode of the BBC1 TV program, “I’d Do Anything” – a reality talent competition in the UK searching for new unknown leads of the upcoming West End revival of Oliver!. Since Idina has obviously been spending some time in London recently, she made a pit stop by the rehearsal studio to work with one of the “Nancy” contestants, Samantha Barks, who had picked none other than “Defying Gravity” as her song choice that week.

One awesome fan posted the video on YouTube, so even though it’s been a few days, I wanted to post it here. It’s short, but totally incredible! Can you imagine singing “Defying Gravity” for Idina to critique?? I don’t think I could do it!
