How did I miss this? Well, putting aside my forgetfulness, this great, in-depth interview with Idina has been posted this week on Playbill.com, covering topics ranging from Idina’ young fans and performing at the Memorial Day Concert to naked Wicked cast members and winning her Tony back in 2004. One of the best interviews she’s given in recent years, so it’s definitely a must read!

According to IdinaMenzel.com, Idina is scheduled to appear on the U.S. morning talk show, “Regis & Kelly,” on Wednesday TUESDAY, June 17th (haha, oops! Sorry everyone, I got my days mixed up!). While details about which song she’s singing or if an interview will follow, it has been confirmed that she will be performing for sure. Make sure to check your local listings for times and channel, as the show is syndicated.

I’ve also been informed that Idina recently filmed a segment for Nightline, which should be airing sometime in the next few weeks. No date for that has been confirmed, but I will keep you posted.

Chess in Concert, the two-night, star-studded event that was presented at London’s Royal Albert Hall May 12-13, will be aired on PBS stations across the country in 2009. The concert will air as part of the 2008-2009 Thirteen/WNET NY’s “Great Performances” season.
