HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! The start of a new year, and we’re are already granted a great new video in the “Making ‘I Stand'” series – this one focuses on the adorable-ness that is Sammy Davis, Idina’s Yorkshire Terrier puppy! It’s a really fun video that slightly showcases the song “Better to Have Loved” from the album, giving a fun behind-the-scenes sneak-peak. We lucked out! The NFL Patriots vs. Giants game that aired on television earlier tonight actually showed Idina performing the National Anthem before the game began! And thanks to Tam for sending me the video, I have added it for your viewing pleasure to download from the Video Archive. Be sure to check it out (even though the audio that aired wasn’t too hot.) She looks gorgeous!

REMEMBER! Idina sings the National Anthem tonight at the Patriots vs. Giants football game, which airs on NFL Network, CBS and NBC at 5pm PST/8pm EST LIVE! There is no guarantee that the National Anthem peformance will be aired, but it’s definitely possible since this is a really big game. So tune in, and also check back later for a video of the appearance (IF it does in fact air.)

AN ENCHANTED WISH

We recently did a great ‘Hollywood Premiere’ wish thanks to Idina Menzel, the Tony Award winning actress who is one of the stars of the new Disney movie, ‘Enchanted’. This wish was truly spectacular from start to finish!

Samantha, or Sammie to her friends, wished to meet Idina Menzel who is best known for her Tony Award winning portrayal as the star of the Broadway mega-hit, ‘Wicked’ and her role in ‘Rent’. Idina went all out to make sure that Sammie’s wish was the best ever. Not only did she meet her for dinner and spend a few hours talking to Sammie, she even listened to Sammie sing and offered her encouragement. Sammie would love to one day be a Broadway star herself! Idina wasn’t finished though. She invited Sammie and her mom to be her guests at the Red Carpet Premiere and after party of the movie ‘Enchanted’!!! We were all thrilled for her here at the office.
