Idina Performs New York, New York with Fellow Broadway Stars
Idina Menzel joined Lin-Manuel Miranda, Andrew Rannells, Ben Platt, Chris Jackson, Cynthia Erivo, and Karen Olivo in a zoom rendition of “New York, New York” during Monday’s “Rise Up New York!” Telethon. The event raised money for Robin Hood, New York’s largest poverty-fighting organization. Watch the performance at BroadwayWorld!
Idina Menzel & Ben Platt Perform “A Whole New World”
Idina Menzel and Ben Platt teamed up to perform a Disney classic during ABC’s “Disney Family Singalong: Volume II” Sunday night! They performed “A Whole New World” from Aladdin. Before their performance, Idina shared that she used to perform the song at bar mitzvahs and weddings.

Idina Menzel was recently nominated for a Gratitude Award! The Broadway League’s Gratitude Awards is a large-scale kindness project designed to share the gift of gratitude from within the theater community, with NYC, and to all. Megan Hilty nominated Idina with this sweet message:

Idina Participates in Saturday Night Seder
Idina Menzel participated in a virtual Passover seder last night! The event, called Saturday Night Seder, is free to watch and has raised over $375,000 for the CDC Foundation’s COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund. (Donate here.)
Idina sang a gorgeous rendition of “The Four Questions” in Hebrew. You can watch her performance above. She was also mentioned at the beginning in a cute bit, and she shared her wish for next year at the end of the show.
