Idina & Cara’s ‘Loud Mouse’ Promo Part 2

Idina & Cara’s ‘Loud Mouse’ Promo Part 2

“Loud Mouse” promo has been winding down this week but there were still some great interviews worth sharing. They are all on the “Loud Mouse” Youtube playlist, but also worth posting here. First up was an interview with ABC News, which you can watch above. It was a great interview and Idina also shared that she will be releasing a tour documentary on Disney+! There’s no other info on that just yet, but stay tuned!

Then there was this fun interview which covered a wide range of topics, including “Disenchanted”. Idina had this to say about her big song, which we know is called “Love Power”:

“I have this awesome song. Stephen Schwartz and Alan Menken wrote like the song of songs for me. It’s incredible and I hope you like it, it’s pretty awesome.”

And then finally, there was this fun interview on The Rachael Ray Show:

I don’t think things will stay too quiet because on October 21 (less than 2 weeks away!), “American Murderer” will be released in theaters and then on digital a week later. And then, of course, “Disenchanted” will be released on Thanksgiving! Definitely a lot to look forward to coming up!

‘Loud Mouse’ Promo Recap!

Idina Menzel and Cara Mentzel had an extremely busy week promoting ‘Loud Mouse’ last week! The duo spoke with EW and TODAY and stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, The View, Sherri, Good Morning America, Live with Kelly and Ryan, New York Live, appeared on various podcasts and participated a satellite tour that included a chat with ABC Audio and new stations across the country. Those are all on the Loud Mouse Youtube playlist so you can watch at your convenience. They clearly have a lot of fun together so the interviews are all really entertaining. I also added some videos I took from their ‘Loud Mouse’ event at Barnes & Noble Union Square in NYC!

Finally, I updated the gallery with photos from their various appearances:

If you saw them at one of their book signings and would like to contribute photos to the gallery, please email me at heather[AT]idina-here.com!

The Loud Mouse Song!

The Loud Mouse Song!

Idina Menzel has released a new song ahead of Loud Mouse’s publication on Tuesday! The adorable song supports the book’s message – that sometimes your best self is big, brave, and loud – and encourages kids (or hey, adults!) to get la-la-la-la-LOUD. You can watch the lyric video above and also stream it on major platforms. If you haven’t already done so, you can pre-order Loud Mouse by Cara Mentzel and Idina Menzel here.

There are also a few new Idina interviews: Disenchanted cast chats with IMDB, Disenchanted cast talks to EW, Idina and Cara on Beyond The Mouse Podcast, Idina and Cara for Disney Books, and LOTS more to come! I’ll be posting on social media as they happen and then probably do a bulk update here later on to recap!

‘American Murderer’ Trailer & Release Date!

‘American Murderer’ Trailer & Release Date!

Idina has so much going on over the coming months! PEOPLE debuted the trailer for her new movie, American Murderer, earlier today!

Based on a true story, this riveting thriller follows Jason Derek Brown (Tom Pelphrey), a charismatic con man bankrolling his extravagant lifestyle through a series of scams. On Brown’s trail: Lance Leising (Ryan Phillippe), a dogged FBI special agent determined to put Brown behind bars. When Brown’s funds run low and his past catches up with him, he plots his most elaborate scheme yet, pitting himself against Leising in a deadly game of cat and mouse–and becoming the most unlikely and elusive fugitive on the FBI’s most-wanted list.

The film, which is written and directed by Matthew Gentile, also stars Jacki Weaver, Paul Schneider, Shantel VanSanten and Moises Arias.  American Murderer will be released in theaters Oct. 21 and digital on Oct. 28.

Disenchanted Trailer Premiere & Poster

Disenchanted Trailer Premiere & Poster

Disney has released the official trailer for the Enchanted sequel, Disenchanted!

It has been 15 years since Giselle (Amy Adams) and Robert (Patrick Dempsey) wed, but Giselle has grown disillusioned with life in the city, so they move their growing family to the sleepy suburban community of Monroeville in search of a more fairy tale life. Unfortunately, it isn’t the quick fix she had hoped for. Suburbia has a whole new set of rules and a local queen bee, Malvina Monroe (Maya Rudolph), who makes Giselle feel more out of place than ever. Frustrated that her happily ever after hasn’t been so easy to find, she turns to the magic of Andalasia for help, accidentally transforming the entire town into a real-life fairy tale and placing her family’s future happiness in jeopardy. Now, Giselle is in a race against time to reverse the spell and determine what happily ever after truly means to her and her family.

As we know, Idina Menzel will reprise her role as Nancy Tremaine! If you watch the trailer above, it looks like she’s Queen Nancy now and it definitely looks like she has a big musical number! Back in Spring 2021, Stephen Schwartz shared that he and Alan Menken, the film’s composers, “[Idina] has one big number and part of another one.” Later that year in August, Idina confirmed, “They gave me songs. They gave me music to sing, which I didn’t have in the first one, which was fine actually, everyone else made a big deal about it. I was happy to be hired as just an actress, but now I’m really excited because these songs, Stephen Schwartz and Alan Menken wrote, the songs are incredible.”

Can’t wait to watch! Disenchanted begins streaming November 24, exclusively on Disney+!
