While viewing this site on my iPhone’s browser today, I had a thought – wouldn’t it be nice if IDINA-HERE had an official iPhone app? Based on a quick ask via @idina_here, it seems a good number of fans there would be interested in having a site app for their iPhone/iPod Touch (and many for their Blackberries, too).

UPDATE!
I discovered that I can provide an app-like version of this site by some simple coding modifications. Now when you view this site on your mobile device (iPhone, iPod Touch, Blackberry, Droid, etc), you will see an option at the bottom to turn on the Mobile Theme. This will provide you with a device-friendly version of the site! Pretty cool, huh?

According to their website, Idina will be joining the Boston Pops in their 2010 season opening festivities on May 4 as guest vocalist, as well as having her own additional performances with the orchestra on May 5 & 6. That means this will be her first gig back after becoming a mommy, not the San Francisco one. :) Tickets range from $30 – $99 and go on sale February 22 at 8:00 am EDT. In what will be her first time performing for a paying audience since becoming a mother in September, Idina will be joining the San Francisco Symphony for a one-night-only performance on July 9 at Davies Symphony Hall in San Francisco, California. IDINA TO APPEAR ON ‘GLEE!’

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Glee creator Ryan Murphy confirmed that Idina will be appearing on the hit FOX series.


Glee returns to FOX with new episodes in April.

UPDATE: Murphy has confirmed that Idina will play the coach of rival glee club Vocal Adrenaline for two episodes – the April 13 episode when Glee returns, and the season finale.
