IDINA TO PERFORM @ SYRACUSE U.

IDINA TO PERFORM @ SYRACUSE U.

It has been announced by the local Syracuse press that Idina has been scheduled to make a concert appearance at Syracuse University at the start of next year. Below is the new snippet taken from the city’s website, Syracuse.com:

Tony winner Idina Menzel makes her Syracuse debut March 19 with a concert at 8 p.m. in Syracuse University’s Goldstein Auditorium for the university’s Pulse Performing Arts Series.

Singer-actress Menzel won the Tony for her performance as the mean green witch in the Broadway smash “Wicked.” Hopefully, her husband, SU drama graduate Taye Diggs, will accompany her if his filming schedule for the TV series “Private Practice” doesn’t conflict.

The couple appeared together in the off-Broadway production of “The Wild Party.”

More information about tickets will be announced shortly (likely when this gig is confirmed by IdinaMenzel.com.)

PICS: “EVERY WOMAN COUNTS/ROCK THE VOTE” ARRIVAL

Last night, Idina appeared in Denver, Colorado at the Cowboy Lounge to host the Lifetime sponsored event, “Every Woman Counts/Rock the Vote”. This was a concert that was in conjunction with the Democratic National Convention (which is being held in Denver right now), and Idina is said to have performed her hit anthem, “I Stand,” for the crowd there.

Erin and I have added a handful of pics to the Gallery of Idina arriving and performing, so check them out by clicking on the thumbnails below.

IDINA HOSTS ‘ROCK THE VOTE’ PARTY

IDINA HOSTS ‘ROCK THE VOTE’ PARTY

While in Denver doing political-y things for the Democratic National Convention, Idina will be hosting (and performing at) the Lifetime Network/Rock the Vote late-night celebration August 26 @ 10:00 pm at the Cowboy Lounge in LoDo, Denver.

“I am so honored to participate in the Every Woman Counts party with Lifetime and Rock the Vote. It is imperative that we never take for granted our rights as American citizens to vote. We must remember that our voices do matter.” – Idina Menzel.

Space is no longer available through RSVPing, but it will be first-come, first-serve basis on Tuesday evening. I assume you have to be 21+ to attend.
