Idina’s 2010 Symphony Tour officially kicked off last weekend in Jacksonville, Florida and lots of great photos from the show have been added to the Gallery. I’ll continue to add photos to the touring album throughout the year as photos are found, so check in now and then to see if there are updates. Super awesome updates will be announced on our Twitter. East coast blogger Jeannie of AtlanticBeachLife.com and her colleague Nick Lulli were the only press allowed backstage to interview Idina. She posted a great summary of the show on her blog (linked above) and was nice enough to allow her photos added to our gallery. You can watch Nick’s interview with Idina on YouTube.

Idina has returned to New York in preparation of her upcoming shows in Boston, and has been doing a miniature media circuit promoting her symphony tour and her participation in Glee.

IdinaMenzel.com has announced the remaining episodes of Glee that Idina will be appearing in:

Episode 1×19 – May 18 – “Dream On”
Episode 1×20 – May 25 – “Theatricality”
Episode 1×21 – June 1 – “Funk”
Episode 1×22 – June 8 – “Journey”

SPOILER ALERT!
It’s also been reported that creator Ryan Murphy has confirmed Idina will be singing in the episode that features a Lady Gaga theme. Murphy stated, “Lea [Michele] and Idina Menzel will do an acoustic version of ‘Poker Face’ that [Lady Gaga] blessed and that she wanted us to do. It’s sort of like a stripped-down mother-daughter ‘Poker Face’ that Lady Gaga was involved in.” Idina will also be performing “I Dreamed A Dream” from Les Miserables. when the show returns! Intriguing!

Well, last night was Idina’s first appearance as Vocal Adrenaline coach Shelby Corcoran on Glee, and it received its highest viewership to-date! I have so much to share I’m not even sure where to begin! I’ll try bullet points:

  • If you live in the US and you missed it, or simply want to watch it again, you can watch “Hell-O” online on Hulu.
  • You can watch a new interview segment with Idina behind the scenes of Glee here.
  • Idina was interviewed by E! News on the red carpet at Monday’s premiere party and asked about her future involvement and what we can expect. She revealed she’ll be in “about 5” episodes this season! I don’t know which episodes she’ll be in, so be sure to tune in every Tuesday to watch. Click here to watch the interview.
  • As a result of America’s excitement over her appearance on Glee, Idina scored her first ever trending topic on Twitter! In the wise words of a good friend, “It’s irrevocable proof that the rest of the world is finally realizing what we’ve known all along.” :)

    For many of you, Glee returns to your televisions tomorrow evening with the fabulous Idina as one of its guest stars! It’s airing at a special time at 9:28 pm ET/PT, so don’t forget! (As if any one of us would, right?)
