Last night in NYC at the Canal Room, Idina performed a V.I.P. showcase in promotion of her new album, “I Stand,” much like her appearance at S.I.R. in Los Angeles last week. This performance was not promoted to fans as the other event had been, but thankfully, there are enough dedicated & experienced Idina fans in NYC who managed to get their names on the guest list. Some accounts of the event can be seen on the So Beautiful Fan Forum, and professional images of the event have been added to theatre site, BroadwayWorld.com. Those pics have been added to the Gallery, as well, with credit to Peter James Zielinski at BWW.

A new YouTube channel has been created specifically for fans to add messages of support, encouragement, excitement, etc. for Idina about her upcoming album! This new channel will be used to help unofficially promote Idina to other soon-to-be fans, as well as show WBR the types of fans that are already out there, ready and willing to show their love.

Pictures taken at last night’s showcase in LA have been added to the Gallery! On there right now are the ones that were taken by me, but there will also be more, which other fans that were there were kind enough to send me. Those will be put up soon. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy these pics, because they came out pretty well – and we were lucky enough to be so close up!

Images that I took with Josh Groban and Idina are only located at the review that I posted for the time being. There were others taken of Idina and I, and I just want to wait to get them back before posting everything in the Gallery.

Hey everyone! I have some fun stuff to share, since I was able to catch WBR’s “I Stand” showcase earlier tonight! It was an incredible show, and as much as I’d love to write out the full review here, I’ve actually already done it elsewhere to allow for it’s super-long length

One day passes where I’m away from the computer, and this news pops up! Warner Brothers Records is putting on a special, one-night-only showcase for Idina’s album, “I Stand,” in Los Angeles tomorrow (Thursday) night. She will be performing live and singing songs from the album in front of an audience for the very first time!

Unfortunately, since it’s an event mainly for the record label, there were a limited number of seats for fans, and requests have now closed for reservations. I’m so sorry for not posting this news sooner when it was posted this afternoon. I know there are a lot of LA fans out there!

I was contacted about it, and hopefully the spot is still reserved for me. So I might get the chance to go, and if so, I will definitely report back! If anyone else was lucky enough to snag reservations, make a comment and let me know that you’re gonna be there! The more familiar fans, the better!

Today’s last update on IdinaMenzel.com was a short video showing a sneak-peak at the mixing of the track “I Feel Everything.” So take a look by clicking below! It doesn’t feature Idina a lot, but it’s a great look at how they tackle each song after it’s recorded.
