Idina performed in the 82nd Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade earlier today. She looked great and sounded amazing! But don’t be fooled – every singer in the parade is required to lip synch due to technical limitations of having good sound outdoors on a moving parade whilst broadcasting it to television. It was a great way to bring Idina into the households of millions of families – I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t extremely proud of her today. hehe

Well, Idina and Taye’s time in Missouri speaking on behalf of the 2008 Obama/Biden Presidential campaign and registering voters in Kansas City, Columbia, and St. Louis has come to an end. Idina performed in London’s Hyde Park as part of an all-star celebration of legendary composer Andrew Lloyd Webber’s 60th birthday on September 14. Each performer sang a song or two from Webber’s lengthy songbook – Idina’s performances were “Don’t Cry for Me Argentina” from Evita and “Unexpected Song” from Song & Dance. Several fan videos are on YouTube if you would like to see and hear for yourself. It was an amazing performance!
