Last night, I added a bunch of older videos (from around the time of the Rent movie release) that are downloadable versions of Press Junket interviews (8 in total) and Movie Clips (4 in total) from the Rent Movie Blog – those can be found in the Movies section of the Video Archive.

In addition, I’ve added a clip from the Rent NYC movie premiere (also from the Rent Movie Blog) to the Public Appearances section. Also on the bottom of that page, you’ll find another Wicked London premiere video, this time from the Associated Press. It’s streaming, not downloadable, so check all those out.

For those of you who are part of The Tollbooth newsletter, you already know this, but for those who aren’t: the director Debra Kirschner has sent out info regarding upcoming screenings and the DVD release (not set yet, but coming soon) — So click “read more” to get the specifics:

BroadwayWorld.com has added a video feature for the West End’s opening night of Wicked last week, and it’s an incredible collection of interviews from the cast and new footage from the show. So take a look, and see what amazing things that cast has to say about Idina, and also watch out for Idina’s interview as well. The video can be found in the Public Appearances section of the Archive, or it can be accessed below (edit: downloadable version, .flv format, added – streaming video located here.)

Thanks to Vanessa, I’ve added several downloadable versions of streaming videos in the Video Archive – This includes Rent Film Trailers, KQED News Spark! Wicked Special, and Idina’s “Minuet” Music Video. So go download those, and more downloads are coming to replace old links. Also, I’ve added (thanks to Vanessa) the Rent movie cast’s PSA for HIV/AIDS Awareness, from E! Online. That can be downloaded from the Commercials/PSA section.

Last night, I finally (after like 2 years) capped all of Idina’s “Minuet” music video, and I’ve added 86 screen captures to the Gallery. Howdy, guys – So, Wicked opened last night in the West End (yay!), and today I’ve been trying to collect images from the bows/afterparty, plus press reviews written this morning. For pictures, I’m still in the process of getting some, and while I have smaller versions of a few, I’m going to remove them once I get the HQ versions (so be warned: if you make a comment, it’ll be deleted once the photo is.) I’ve also added a bunch of scans, thanks to Charlotte, of press released this morning. There are some gorgeous new images of Idina on stage as ‘Elphaba’, so definitely glance through the photo album for new stuff.

Also, thanks to Hannah for the link, I’ve added a link to a streaming video on BroadwayWorld.com of opening night coverage of Wicked in London. It features interviews with all the cast members, and interviews audience members. So take a look! It’s in the Video Archive in the Public Appearances section.

Two small things today: The official site for Wicked in London put up a promotional video today, featuring great footage from the show — It’s located in the Video Archive, more specifically, the Online Videos section. Note: It is in .FLV format, meaning if you haven’t already, you’ll need to download a free version of the FLV player – link is located on the main page of the Archive (this format is a downloadable version of Flash streaming videos.) If anyone wants to get this to me in .mov format, contact me. And if you’d just prefer to watch the streaming video, it can be directly found on the official site.
