The Premiere Idina Menzel Resource
The gallery is busy this week – just like Idina! She attended the opening of reasons to be pretty Thursday night at New York’s Lyceum Theatre, and as is to be expected, she showed off her own reasons to be pretty.
The new revival of Hair opened on Broadway Thursday night, and Idina and Taye (and baby!) were in the audience. I’ve added several photos from the orange shag carpet arrivals to the gallery. Click the thumbnails below to view them.
Well, my friends, Idina’s spring I Stand tour has come to an end! I had a blast at the couple shows I was able to attend, and I’ve read tons of awesome reviews. Were you able to catch a show? If so, feel free to leave a review in the comments here!
In the latter part of the tour, Idina debuted two brand new songs she wrote on the road, entitled “Spiraling” and “Butterfly.” They’re both gorgeous – though “Butterfly” is my personal favorite. You can listen to clips of them in the Original Music media section.
Also, as everyone is now accustomed to, I’m collecting concert photos for our gallery. We already have a good collection going, but a few shows are missing photos (Portsmouth, Alexandria, Glenside, & Brookville), so if you happened to take some nice, stealth photos at these (or other) shows without pissing off Idina with your flash, we’d love to add them! Just zip up the HQ images and e-mail them to me, telling me which show they’re from and how you’d like to be credited. Feel free to browse the images we’ve already added by clicking on the thumbnails below.
Idina & Taye attended the opening night of Minsky’s, starring Idina’s former Wicked co-star, Christopher Fitzgerald, at the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles last week. I’ve added several photos from their backstage visit to the gallery. You may view them by clicking the thumbnails below.

If you think you’re already on a mobile list, it’s ok to join again as their two lists will be merged so you don’t get duplicates of everything.

Idina attended the 15th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards Sunday evning where Taye was presenting. She looked stunning in a pure white gown by an as-yet-unknown designer, H. Stern gold and diamonds, and a fancy updo hairstyle. Oh, and Taye looked nice, too. Alright, that’s enough Joan Rivers for me. HQ images are in the gallery below. Enjoy!
