A HUGE thanks to Peter for these videos, I’ve uploaded the two performance videos from Monday night’s Royal Variety Show in London (you know, the one where Idina met the Prince?) Hey ya’ll — K, so I just finished my hardest finals, and I decided to celebrate by doing an update of stuff I’ve been putting off to the side. First, there are two new (or actually, old) videos that I’ve added to the Video Archive. The first is a segment I cut out of an old “That’s Kentertainment!” episode from the Wicked Opening Night on BROADWAY back in 2003. It was a long video originally, so I just put up Idina and Kristin Chenoweth’s interview chunk – if you want the whole thing, I’m sorry, I can’t help you, since I don’t have it anymore. Really quick update: Idina met Prince Charles last night following the Royal Variety Show! The performance – which won’t air on TV until 12/12, so don’t worry, you didn’t miss it – was attended by Prince Charles and his wife, Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, and Idina was introduced to them after the show. I’ve added a picture of her shaking hands with the Prince (quite an incredible moment), and I’m hoping more photos will surface in the near future Enjoy!

Idina has been nominated for Best Actress in a Musical, Wicked in the Theatregoer’s Choice Awards on WhatsOnStage.com! This is a great award, because it’s the theatre fans who vote for the winners! So with all the Idina fans out there, I’ll bet we could easily sway the vote in her favor

First off, I received an e-mail from an Idina fan who has informed that the Royal Variety Show performance, while it IS taking place on Dec. 4th, it won’t air on BBC1 TV until Dec. 12th! So if you’re planning on watching it, be sure to change your VCR recorders, DVRs, etc —  I just don’t want anyone freaking out when it’s not on next week.
