I should have updated with this last week when I first saw it, but I thought “Idina’s not in it, so…” — Now, though, I realize that it’s an important (not to mention the first) look at Idina’s upcoming Disney film, Enchanted. Airing daily (maybe even hourly) on the Disney channel segment ‘MovieSurfers’, a peek at all of Disney’s 2007 film releases are showcased, last of which is Enchanted ! There’s the first glimpse of the animation (2-D!) and Idina’s co-stars, Amy Adams and Patrick Dempsey.

More sneak peeks will be released in the future (hopefully some that actually show Idina, since this one does not), so once they’re shown, I will add them to the site. Also, I’ve heard from several fans that Idina was spotted with her husband, Taye Diggs, at the Complexions Ballet at the Joyce Theatre, which he contributed choreography to. Nice to see Idina enjoying some leisure time after such an intense couple of months.

Happy New Year! Definitely time I make a new update, huh? Looks like the comment form has been plum-tuckered out in the last post! So much enthusiasm, it amazes me. Anyways! Just a general Idina update: Since her incredible finale at Wicked in London last Saturday, she has returned home to the States (on 1/4/07, to end the debate), and she will spend many of the upcoming weeks in Los Angeles working on her album at Warner Brothers Records. There may not be any major news for a little bit while she lays down the tracks, but hopefully the Q&A will get sent to me sometime in the near future. I know you’re all eagerly awaiting it, as am I.

But I updated with a little something I had forgotten about — The fans at the SB Forum ran across an audio clip of a song that was recorded, but not included, for Idina’s last studio record, “Here”. I’ve added the clip of the song to the Original Music page for everyone to download and enjoy. It’s not the ENTIRE song, but a small chunk that you’re bound to love.

I’ve also added the last handful of Fan Photos I’ve received from you all. This batch includes some taken during/after Idina’s last performance on Dec. 30th, as well as Stage Door coverage from other nights. Thank you to Sabrina, Katie, Star, Katie H., and Trina for contributing (if you also sent Fan pics and they haven’t been put up, try dropping me an inquiry e-mail or sending them again — sometimes stuff gets accidentally deleted when I’m going through SPAM.) All the 12/30/06 images can be seen in the front of the album, just in case you don’t spot them right away.

I was so busy with Christmas stuff these last few days, my new present to everyone has already made it’s way online! Oh well, they’re still beautiful and now they’re here for everyone to enjoy. Thanks to Linny, 7 previously unseen images from Idina’s photoshoot with photographer Grant Delin have been added to the Gallery! So please enjoy these, as they’re just stunning and definitely a treat for all you graphic-makers out there.

 
I’ve also been asked about the Q&A with Idina, and unfortunately, I still haven’t received it. I was hoping to have it up as a Christmas/Holiday present for everyone, but this is of course a very busy few weeks for Idina, so we’ll all just have to be patient. I’ve been reassured that it will be sent to me once it’s finished, and I assure all of you that I’ll put it up right when I get it.

I’ve finished my finals! Thank you to everyone who wished me luck (I needed it!) and I think I did well. So I uploaded some pictures recently that I’ve received, and I hope everyone likes them! First, some HQ versions of Idina’s Royal Variety Show appearance when she met Prince Charles & Camilla. Three new images have also been added in the album here. Then, thanks to Ava, I’ve added some incredible and fun pictures of Idina during her “Still I Can’t Be Still” promotional tour back in 1998! Ava was at two different concerts back in the day and has donated pictures from both of them: the Graffiti in Pittsburgh and the Bowery Ballroom in NYC. Check them out!

Lastly, I got a beautiful picture from a promotional photoshoot with the Rent movie cast that I didn’t have a good-size version of before. Thanks to Sharayah, I do now! It’s not huge, but it’s still really cute, and I’m currently trying to get my hands on more photos from this shoot (which is out there somewhere!) Anyways, until then, this one will have to do.
