I’ve just received confirmation that, unfortunately, Idina will no longer be involved with the upcoming V-Day Festival. I know a lot of you have been wondering about what her part was going to be and when, however, due to scheduling conflicts with her film role, she is unable to participate. Hopefully nobody’s plans have been interferred with, and the festival is still something worth checking out if you’re in the NYC area because it’s a great cause!

This past weekend, Idina and Taye attended the 2006 Swarovski CFDA Dinner, and I’ve added a collection of 19 HQ images to the Gallery! Idina’s Ask the Dust co-star Salma Hayek and Enchanted co-star Amy Adams were both on hand as well. Also, 13 more HQ images have also been added to the album for “The Today Show” appearance last week! Some beautiful new additions, check them out!

Some of you may have noticed I’ve been updating the gallery with HQ pictures over the past week, and I thought it was about time I let you all know what’s new – Thanks to Cassie and Justine, I’ve gotten over 100 more large high quality pics of Idina to share with you. Below is a list of all the updated albums, and believe it or not, there’s still more to come! (I just couldn’t get them all yet, I soon will.) Enjoy!!

Idina appeared this morning on Katie Couric’s 3-hour goodbye tribute of “The Today Show”, and I captured the video and uploaded it to download for you all — Visit the Television Videos Page and scroll all the way to the bottom to access the zipped video file. Idina has been listed as one of several artists scheduled to bid farewell to “Today Show” co-host, Katie Couric during her final 3-hour show, May 31, 2006! According to the New York Post, Idina will perform during the tribute episode in addition to such stars as Tony Bennet and Martina McBride — “The Today Show” is syndicated across the country, and airs for 3 hours in the morning (check your local listings for times.)

EDIT: I’ve received word that Idina will be appearing on the show at 7:45AM, and she is scheduled to perform a shortened version of “For Good” from Wicked with country megastar Trisha Yearwood. If anymore information comes about this appearance, I’ll be sure to post it.
