Due to popular demand, I’m beginning to add the lyrics to Idina’s rare and/or unpublished songs, either that she wrote or performed in the past — If you were familiar with the old site, I had a similar page on there for people to reference, and several people have asked about it since the move. So! I’m building the page over the next few weeks! Right now, you can view Idina’s rare original song lyrics, such as “Jealous”, “Winter”, and “Rise Up” — Click here to view the growing list. A link to the Rare Songs page can also be found at the top of the Music Page. More songs will come in the future, I promise.

Also, the official cover art for the Rent DVD has been released online, and can be viewed here — The DVD is going to be a 2-disc, special edition release, with many behind-the-scenes featurettes and making-of videos. Again, the DVD is set to be released in the U.S./Canada on February 21st! Can’t wait

According to an article posted this morning on Variety.com, Idina is slated to star in an upcoming Disney picture titled Enchanted, alongside Amy Adams – Variety says: “Menzel plays the best friend of Adams’ character, a princess banished from her animated world to live-action New York City.” View the article here.

Also, thanks to everyone who offered their support with the video situation, it’s definitely something I was hoping I wouldn’t have to deal with (if you have no idea what I’m talking about, read the previous NEWS update.) — I have replaced all the videos on the Television Videos page with links from MEGAUPLOAD. That may be a temporary thing if I can find something I like better. If you’re unsure of how to download with MEGAUPLOAD, I have included download instructions here. Again, I’m sorry for those who don’t like it, but there was nothing I could do at this point. I hope you understand.

Also, I’ve finally gotten around to adding the Credits Page, which lists the applications, scripts and people that helped me get this site off the ground. Thanks to everyone!

IMPORTANT NOTICE: So unfortunately, what I feared would happen has happened. My site’s host, Dreamhost, has alerted me that my bandwidth for this coming month is already on it’s way to exceeding it’s limit. This, I gather, is entirely due to the videos on my server that are constantly being downloaded.

This is a large problem, because I do understand that now the videos are so much easier to download, and that has made things easier on me. However, at the rate it’s going, my bandwidth will exceed past it’s limit within the next week. Over the next day or so, I have to think about a solution to this problem. I know most people don’t like MEGAUPLOAD as a downloading tool, but it may just end up that I’ll have to use that for all my videos. I’m so sorry, there doesn’t seem to be another solution as of right now. I’m not changing the links right this second, but I may spend tonight doing that. I just cannot afford this site going down or paying for extra space. Again, I apologize. __ Kim
