Hey everyone! It’s Kim, and I’m back from a month-long trip to Europe. I want to thank Erin for contributing news and keeping this site updated in my absence. She will (hopefully!) continue to help out on the site by posting news in order to keep this site the most complete source for Idina news.

Since I was away, there were definitely a lot of incredible appearances by Idina, and pictures definitely littered the web! I’ve added a huge collection of pics from various events to the Gallery, including the following:

Tickets for all dates of Idina’s 2008 US concert tour are now on sale across the country. Below is a complete listing of her shows and links to purchase tickets. Her tour is selling very well, so don’t hesitate if you want to grab good seats.

The official website for the recent London production of Chess that Idina starred in, alongside Josh Groban, Kerry Ellis, and Adam Pascal, now has an extensive photo gallery! And don’t forget, Chess will be aired on television in the US & UK in 2009 and will also be released on DVD and CD!

Idina is presently on a short break from her summer tour (gearing up for Nero!), so what better time than to play photo-catch up than the present? These photos are not in the site’s gallery yet, but I set up Photobucket albums to display them until they’re able to be added. The thumbails will take you to albums set up for each event! So, without further ado:

Idina was the headlining performer at last night’s 8th Annual Trevor Project benefit. Details about what she sang have not surfaced yet, but she was scheduled to sing tracks off her album, I Stand. She looked absolutely stunning on their red carpet.

Before her June 26 concert at The Music Box in Atlantic City’s Borgata casino, Idina attended the opening of their upscale “Water Club” hotel in a teal version of the dress custom made by designer Narciso Rodriguez, who also designed the similar dresses she wore for the Sex & the City premiere, and her recent concert at Town Hall in New York.

And of course we can’t leave out the 2008 Tony Awards! Idina and Taye attended the awards show and participated in the on-stage tribute to RENT with the rest of the Original Broadway Cast and the current cast.

As a result of the great ‘I Stand for…’ birthday video the members of the So Beautiful Forum created, Idina has just launched a very special new project.

Beginning today, the world can now join together in showing what it is they stand for. All you need is a Facebook account to “become a fan” of Idina Menzel’s “I Stand” Page. From there, you can watch an exclusive introductory video by Idina and, by using Facebook’s video and photo sharing tools, begin participating in this moving, heartfelt project in sharing what you stand for and believe in! Idina will even be participating regularly with this new venture.
