Based on a true story, this riveting thriller follows Jason Derek Brown (Tom Pelphrey), a charismatic con man bankrolling his extravagant lifestyle through a series of scams. On Brown’s trail: Lance Leising (Ryan Phillippe), a dogged FBI special agent determined to put Brown behind bars. When Brown’s funds run low and his past catches up with him, he plots his most elaborate scheme yet, pitting himself against Leising in a deadly game of cat and mouse–and becoming the most unlikely and elusive fugitive on the FBI’s most-wanted list.

Disenchanted Trailer Premiere & Poster

Disney has released the official trailer for the Enchanted sequel, Disenchanted!

It has been 15 years since Giselle (Amy Adams) and Robert (Patrick Dempsey) wed, but Giselle has grown disillusioned with life in the city, so they move their growing family to the sleepy suburban community of Monroeville in search of a more fairy tale life. Unfortunately, it isn’t the quick fix she had hoped for. Suburbia has a whole new set of rules and a local queen bee, Malvina Monroe (Maya Rudolph), who makes Giselle feel more out of place than ever. Frustrated that her happily ever after hasn’t been so easy to find, she turns to the magic of Andalasia for help, accidentally transforming the entire town into a real-life fairy tale and placing her family’s future happiness in jeopardy. Now, Giselle is in a race against time to reverse the spell and determine what happily ever after truly means to her and her family.

As we know, Idina Menzel will reprise her role as Nancy Tremaine! If you watch the trailer above, it looks like she’s Queen Nancy now and it definitely looks like she has a big musical number! Back in Spring 2021, Stephen Schwartz shared that he and Alan Menken, the film’s composers, “[Idina] has one big number and part of another one.” Later that year in August, Idina confirmed, “They gave me songs. They gave me music to sing, which I didn’t have in the first one, which was fine actually, everyone else made a big deal about it. I was happy to be hired as just an actress, but now I’m really excited because these songs, Stephen Schwartz and Alan Menken wrote, the songs are incredible.”

Can’t wait to watch! Disenchanted begins streaming November 24, exclusively on Disney+!

Here’s a video of their D23 Expo panel:

“It’s a little card that goes a loud way. Let your imagination sing at the library.” — Idina Menzel

“The library is where your imagination sings. Get your library card and ‘check it out’ today.” — Cara Mentzel

A “Loud Mouse” bookmark and an Idina poster promoting reading are also for sale on the American Library Association website. On that note, “Loud Mouse” promo is starting with a new interview in Publisher’s Weekly. Here’s a short excerpt:

What was it like to create a picture book together? What do you feel you each brought to the creative process?

Menzel: It was so fun! It was a really joyful and fulfilling project. Cara is such a gifted writer and teacher—she has her master’s in elementary education and literacy. I feel like she’s my street cred. And she just knows how to capture the minds of the kids we’re trying to reach with this story. You know, in some ways, I think I brought the what to the project—what do we want to achieve here? And she brought the how—how do we go about achieving that?

Mentzel: Dee makes it easy. She’s just naturally creative. She’s the one who thought Dee should be La, la, la, LA LOUD. It was also really rewarding to work together as professionals, not just sisters.
